Since 1989, the UHCL Archives and Special Collections is the official repository for official UHCL records deemed to have enduring value since UHCL’s founding in 1974. These records are housed within the Archives in the University Archives collecting area. Holdings include the papers of past university presidents, official operational records from various university offices and departments, university association records, student organization and publication records, select faculty and alumni papers, UHCL events and programs materials, and campus oral histories. The UHCL Archives holds the most complete set of the student newspaper The UHCLidian and its successor title The Signal, the UHCL University Photograph Collection, and numerous campus reports and publications.
