dc.description.abstractThis subseries consists of documentation related to choosing a contractor for Shuttle Processing at the Cape. It addresses issues involved in moving from a test mode of operations with the Shuttle into an operations mode. The first run of reports consist of late 1970s management analyses of Shuttle operations. The documents culminate with a July 1982 briefing to the NASA Administrator on the Shuttle Processing Contract. The documents are arranged with a run of reports and presentations preceding a run of subject files and correspondence. The first three boxes contain reports and presentations organized by date. The final two boxes contain correspondence folders and are also arranged chronologically. Dates included in the subseries are July 1976 through June 1983.en_US
