The Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP) Records is composed of original materials documenting the development and operational history of the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (formerly known as the Clear Lake Area Economic Development Foundation), from its beginning in 1976 to recent years. BAHEP operates as a promotional marketing and development membership agency for businesses in the Bay Area Houston region of southeast coastal Texas. Its mission has been to work attracting and bringing new companies to the area and creating new employment opportunities for residents, by attracting, retaining, and expanding industry within the region
