Finding Aid for the Union Publications Collection, 1790-1986 (#2016-0020)

The Union Publications Collection consists primarily of publications involving the U.S. labor and socialist movements, dating from 1876 to 1961. The collection was originally housed by the UHCL Neumann Library in their library files until the 2000s. The collection includes tracts, newspapers, and booklets printed by the U.S. government, various trade unions, political organizations, foreign unions and organizations in Britain, France, and Ireland, and also publications by the government of the former USSR. A large part of the collection consists of publications by the American Federation of Labor.
