Abstract

The Shuttle Operational Data Book was created in 1973 as a "shuttle data exchange system ... to provide an authenticated source of data to support studies, analyses and mission planning activities." The current subseries was acquired in 1990 from Jim Mistrot of the Flight Data Office and includes all the information current at that time. Amendments are added as received. In addition, earlier iterations are sought and added to the collection when available. The documents are organized by volume number. There are four volumes and within each volume the earliest iterations are filed first. Amendments are filed behind each volume and are organized by amendment number. The subseries consists of 6 1/2 linear feet of material.
